Make Wedding Photos Flawless
Here's the short list of dos and don'ts for wedding day photography.
- Try to avoid jewelry that is small, flat or reflective.
- Don't try a new hairstyle right before the big day. At least two weeks before the ceremony, schedule a "dry run" with your hairdresser.
- Consider taking a bag stocked with beauty essentials along for a last-minute fixups.
- Use matte makeup. Shiny makeup will reflect in photos.
- Drink lots of water. Avoid sunburn and gets lots of sleep before the big day. This will improve your skin tone.
- Study your face in a mirror. Does one side look better? Usually, holding your face at a slight angle is more becoming.
- When posing, turn your shoulders toward the camera or at a three-quarter angle, and turn your hips at a right angle to the camera.
- Think happy thoughts!
