How to Make The Invitation

Materials

48 sheets 8.5 "x 11" card stock, white or colored
craft glue or hot glue gun
scissors or exacto knife
photos, cards, or other decorations

Instructions

Create the text of your Deck the Halls Bridal Shower Invitation using our text (see below) or write your own if you're feeling creative.
Personalize with the bride and groom's names, and the date, time, and location of the shower.
Print out invitations on card stock. Each invitation takes three pages.
To customize style, lay invitation out on your favorite drawing program. To make invitation shown in the picture, cut the width of the paper down to 5" by cutting 1.25" off each side. To make one long invitation, apply glue to page one below the last stanza and attatch page two. Repeat with pages two and three.
Decorate as you wish. We used old Christmas cards, but photos or scanned pictures would be great, too.
Fold the invitation four times, accordion style, approximately every 5.5" inches.

How To Make The Ornament Creation Kit

Materials

16 styrofoam balls
16 5" square gift boxes
16 6" shipping boxes
16 printed invitations
tissue paper (optional)

Instructions

Place each Styrofoam ball in each gift box with some tissue paper.
Place folded invitation on top of ball and seal gift box.
Place gift box inside shipping box. Seal and label shipping box to intended bridal shower guest.
Mail your Invitation Creation 3-4 weeks before the shower. Hope everyone participates.
When everyone shows up at the shower with their homemade Holiday ornament for the bride, you can then play a bridal shower game in which she has to guess who made which ornament.

the holidays draw near,

at the holiday shower

is to take this blank ball
and gussy it up.

Since they are getting married,
they'll spend all their cash,
On flowers and cake
and a big wedding bash.
